Wild Horses + Exploration
Psych & Such | 19 May 2021
On Fort Polk, there are horses. And I don't mean tame, trained horses used by the Army. These are "trespass horses." Undomesticated, wild horses that have been abandoned by their owners who could no longer care for them and established residence on the land long before it was Fort Polk.
The "trespass horses" typically stay within certain parameters on post. Today, they wandered south into a territory close to where I work. I wonder, what triggered their movement?
The 3 W's of exploration:
When you decide to step outside of your comfort zone, what prompts your choice?
What calculations do you compute in your mind that signals taking a risk is worthwhile?
Where in your life should you start exploring other options and avenues?
